Paper Doll

This year I’m hanging up my spandex for a Retro (’tis the theme this month) homemade costume! If I can gather the supplies, I’ll even include the hubby with a matching men’s version.Process

I saved this large piece of cardboard the past few months thinking I could surely make something out of it. Add in some fabric from Ms. Sara’s box of goodies and some spray glue. The Paper Doll is born. At a total cost of ZERO! dollars. Yay!! It doesn’t get any better than that.

Oh my

Now, let’s hope it doesn’t rain. It’s only glued with Quilt Basting Spray that dissolves in water. Fingers crossed.

I ended up not wearing the costume to my MOMs Club Halloween Meet-up since it was outside and the weather drizzly. Maybe it’ll be clear on Halloween night? Ah well, if not, I’ll be handing out the treats from the safety of the carport.

Nerd Morning

Nerd boys

School Nerds.

In lieu of candy this Halloween we’re doing non edible treats. Although, should say “in addition”, since hubby insisted on buying candy this past weekend, dare we be labeled as that weird house that gives out apples.

One of the non-edible treats: Nerd glasses!  They also double as Minion glasses or part of my Hawaiian Waldo costume. I surprised the boys this morning and they had a blast.

Maybe a little too much fun with the selfies…
